Neil L. Henrichsen
Neil L. Henrichsen has been a voice for working people his entire professional career. Mr. Henrichsen is an experienced AV Rated civil trial lawyer representing exclusively employees in whistleblower, discrimination, sexual harassment, and other employment and labor claims. Mr. Henrichsen also works in the civil rights law field and has successfully tried to verdict numerous cases before juries and judges in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
Mr. Henrichsen has over 30 years of employment and labor law experience primarily advocating for the rights of employees, including executives of all levels, sales executives, financial advisors and finance professionals, physicians, nurses and other health care workers, attorneys, accountants, all trades and line workers. Mr. Henrichsen is an AV Rated civil trial lawyer, the highest rating from the Martindale Hubble law directory, is listed in Martindale Hubbell’s Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Attorneys, has been awarded a SuperLawyer designation for Employment Law in 2021- 2023, Best Lawyers designation and has been featured in a list of “Washington DC & Baltimore’s Top Rated Lawyers” as well as top ratings from other lawyer directory services.
Taking an innovative and aggressive approach for his clients, Mr. Henrichsen has tried to verdict numerous cases for employees before juries and judges in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mr. Henrichsen has handled to resolution numerous claims involving failure to pay commissions, whistleblower rights, qui tam, sex harassment, discrimination, Title IX, breach of contract, overtime, class issues and other employment disputes. Case accomplishments include significant severance arrangements for high level large company employees, FINRA panel award for defamation and slander against a financial advisor, and a $1.1 million judgment after a jury trial on behalf of a commission sales executive for non-payment under a sales commission plan.
Mr. Henrichsen is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Virginia, State of New Jersey, State of Florida, Court of Federal Claims, various federal district, bankruptcy and appellate courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, Fourth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. He is an active member of numerous attorney organizations, including the National Employment Lawyers Association, and he has been a speaker to various attorney education groups on employment law issues. Additionally, Mr. Henrichsen has been sought out and interviewed by the media on specific cases as well as legal issues.
Mr. Henrichsen received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the City University of New York, Hunter College, a Juris Doctor degree from The Washington College of Law, American University, and a M.A. degree in Law and International Affairs from American University, School of International Service.
